Guess this is how it's going to be -- me and the boys.

The Sunnies were supposed to meet up last Saturday night but only Irone, Miguel, Adnan, Ryan, Noemer and me showed up. Someone asked, "Nasan yun iba?" to which I replied, "Sino pa bang hinahanap mo? Eto na yun." Then, we just laughed.

After dinner, Adnan left to attend a friend's birthday party. The five of us went to see Underworld 2. Only me and Miguel were able to watch the first movie but I think the others still enjoyed it.

We went to Metro Walk after the movie and had some drinks at a bar (I forgot the name). Irone got a chance to jam with the band and he played "The Day You Said Goodnight" on the guitar. After a couple of beers, Adnan arrived coming back from the bday party, so we ordered some more (sabi nga, mahaba habang inuman).

The "drinking spree" was followed by coffee at Starbucks where we were able to talk about some serious business. I will not talk about it here, though. Saka na lang pag nagkatotoo na.

happy bday ken!

3 years old na sya bukas.

Nakakatawa kasi college na ko nun ipinanganak sya kaya hindi nya ko nakikita palagi. Tapos, pag umuuwi ako dati, nagtataka sya kung sino ako. Tinitigan nya lang ako ng matagal. At madalas ayaw nya sumama sa kin.

prayer mountain

Rowick invited me to go with her to the Touch of Glory Prayer Mountain in Antipolo last Friday. The place was for 'Christians'.

We arrived at around 7pm. After registering and checking our dorm room, we attended a service. I'm not sure if all services were like that -- there was singing (maybe 3 songs) before the actual "service". Then, the "service" itself. And after that was a prayer.

We had dinner afterwards -- actually, there was no food by that time so we both had a sandwich.

Then, we sat on one of the benches outside and talked about life, love, God, religion. Around 1130pm, she went inside one of the prayer cells and I went back to the dorm. I told her I don't think I can pray inside the small room (I think it was 4ft x 4ft or smaller!) and I needed to hear noise to be able to concentrate.

The experience was nice. Though it was a bit akward since I think I'm the only Catholic there at that time. (Basta iba yun feeling..) And I think I was observing the place and the people half of the time.

NLG had a small picnic last Saturday. It was nice that it wasn't too sunny that day -- cloudy nga eh, pero hindi rin yun tipong uulan. Napakanta pa tuloy ako ng "Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the snow is so delightful.." Oo, malabo yun song pero na-gets naman nila kung anong ibig kong sabihin.



Inabot na kami ng gabi sa Bel Field and it was actually one of the few instances that I enjoyed looking at the stars.

Around 11pm or so, Kenny Rogers was about to close so we had to leave. Pitt, Elmer and Jo went home.

As we were waiting for Pitt's dad to pick them up, we noticed that there were a lot of fire trucks passing by. But it was weird because there wasn't any fire and they were just making U-turns at ADMU Gate 3 and then Gate 2 and then back again. The fire trucks came from different places -- Novaliches, Quezon City, Marikina and other volunteer fire brigades.

We had different theories of what was going on but we decided that Miggy's theory was the best and the most probable one. He said that it might be the day that fire trucks were discovered, so they are having some kind of a parade/celebration.

Me, A. Kams, K. Macky, Adnan and Miguel decided to have coffee at Starbucks. I was having a bad headache pero sige lang. Ngayon lang ulit ako lumabas eh. Out of boredom and for a change, I decided to give Adnan a new nick name: Addie.

Tapos, closing na ulit ng Starbucks. So, we went to Eastwood! Hindi kami gutom so humanap lang ng mauupuan tapos tumambay. After a few minutes, we started rating the people passing by. Bad bad!

Addie and Ang [Miguel] went home around 4am. Tapos, tuloy pa rin ang kwentuhan namin 3.

At kahit inaantok na kami, we still had an eat-all-you-can breakfast at Something Fishy before going home.

'Asante sana Squash banana, Wiwi nugu Mi mi apana'

Sa wakas, napanood ko na ang Lion King. Nag-half day ako kahapon, tapos walang tao sa salas kaya ayun, nagkaroon ako ng chance para panoorin yun DVD.

Nakakatuwa kasi after almost 12 years, napanood ko din.

Simba is so gay dun sa part na kasama nya si Pumbaa and Timon tapos kumakanta sila ng Hakuna Matata. hehe

Tapos, nun malaki na si Nala, hindi ko maalis sa isip ko na si Moira Kelly yun. Naaalala ko yun Cutting Edge. Gusto ko ulit panoorin!

Kagabi, nanonood ako ng Tonight Show with Jay Lenno (yun nga ba ang title?), tapos guest si Will Farrell. May ipinakita na film clip kasama si Nathan Lane at Matthew Broderick. Si Pumbaa at Simba ang nakikita ko sa screen! hehe
