where the grass is green.. and the [stars] are shining

NLG had a small picnic last Saturday. It was nice that it wasn't too sunny that day -- cloudy nga eh, pero hindi rin yun tipong uulan. Napakanta pa tuloy ako ng "Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the snow is so delightful.." Oo, malabo yun song pero na-gets naman nila kung anong ibig kong sabihin.



Inabot na kami ng gabi sa Bel Field and it was actually one of the few instances that I enjoyed looking at the stars.

After that, we had dinner at Kenny Rogers Katipunan. Here are some words that will now have a different meaning for all of us present:

Around 11pm or so, Kenny Rogers was about to close so we had to leave. Pitt, Elmer and Jo went home.

As we were waiting for Pitt's dad to pick them up, we noticed that there were a lot of fire trucks passing by. But it was weird because there wasn't any fire and they were just making U-turns at ADMU Gate 3 and then Gate 2 and then back again. The fire trucks came from different places -- Novaliches, Quezon City, Marikina and other volunteer fire brigades.

We had different theories of what was going on but we decided that Miggy's theory was the best and the most probable one. He said that it might be the day that fire trucks were discovered, so they are having some kind of a parade/celebration.

Me, A. Kams, K. Macky, Adnan and Miguel decided to have coffee at Starbucks. I was having a bad headache pero sige lang. Ngayon lang ulit ako lumabas eh. Out of boredom and for a change, I decided to give Adnan a new nick name: Addie.

Tapos, closing na ulit ng Starbucks. So, we went to Eastwood! Hindi kami gutom so humanap lang ng mauupuan tapos tumambay. After a few minutes, we started rating the people passing by. Bad bad!

Addie and Ang [Miguel] went home around 4am. Tapos, tuloy pa rin ang kwentuhan namin 3.

At kahit inaantok na kami, we still had an eat-all-you-can breakfast at Something Fishy before going home.
